Lynchburg, Virginia, is where the Scott Insurance legacy began. On November 10, 1864, the company issued a $10,000 fire policy to its first business insurance client. Over 150 years later, the Lynchburg office serves as Scott’s corporate headquarters and is home to over 100 employee owners. In addition to meeting the risk management and employee benefits needs of businesses in Central Virginia, Scott’s Personal Insurance, Small Business Insurance and national License Surety Bonds program are based in the Lynchburg office.
