Bethany Murphy

Vice President, Risk Advisor

Bethany graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Prior to joining Scott, she was a Vice President of a large regional commercial insurance brokerage based in Charlotte, North Carolina, for eight years. There, she counseled employers of various sizes and industries on the effective and efficient management of enterprise-wide risk. Her clients have included small family owned businesses as well as large multi-national corporations.

Bethany’s experience couples well with the Scott Insurance platform of “Embrace Risk. Reward Performance.” Scott Insurance believes in reducing the client’s demand for insurance through a long-term risk management approach and partnership. Evidencing her expertise in the insurance industry are the following designations held by Bethany: Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB), Associate in Claims (AIC), as well as the Certified Work Comp Advisor (CWCA).
