Scott Insurance has appointed Ryan Raybuck as a benefits consultant in its Lynchburg, Va., headquarters. In this role, Raybuck’s primary objective is to advise mid-market employers on comprehensive employee benefits strategy. He provides expert insights and resources pertaining to group health captives, health plan funding, and analysis for plan design and utilization. Additionally, he provides strategic guidance to help employers leverage and align employee benefits and HR technology infrastructure to drive organizational value and attract and retain top talent.
Raybuck had served as a member of Scott Insurance’s financial risk performance team since 2014. In this role, he provided deep data analysis and financial modeling for health plans, resulting in actionable strategies to help Scott clients gain better control over their employee benefits programs. Raybuck’s appointment as a benefits consultant is a testament to his expertise and the expansion of the company’s employee benefits practice in the Lynchburg region.
Raybuck received a Bachelor of Arts in economics and commerce from Hampden-Sydney College and holds his Certified Self-Funded Specialist (CSFS) designation. He serves as Chair of the Lynchburg SHRM Foundation and is an active member of the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance.
