Sara Orange Joins Scott Insurance as Risk Advisor in Lynchburg
Scott Insurance has announced the addition of Sara Orange as a Risk Advisor in its Lynchburg, Va., office.
As a Risk Advisor, Orange will partner with companies to develop and deploy comprehensive insurance and risk management strategies, including designing commercial property and casualty insurance programs, building safety-focused cultures, and structuring and implementing alternative risk financing vehicles.
Orange began her career as a CPA with KPMG in Richmond, Va., before moving back to her hometown of Lynchburg, where she worked for Centra Health in a finance role. Prior to joining Scott, she was CFO/Controller at Simplimatic Automation, where she served for fourteen years. As a key member of the leadership team and shareholder, Orange was an integral part of the company strategy, achieving top-and bottom-line growth, which ultimately led to a 30% ROI for shareholders with the sale of the company to Crown International Holdings, Inc. (CCK) in 2022.
Orange graduated summa cum laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance and from Wake Forest University with a Master of Science in Accounting. She is active in her community and is a member of the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance.
