Scott Insurance recently announced the promotion of two longtime employee owners in its Lynchburg headquarters, Dustin DeJarnette and Kris McCue.

DeJarnette has been named Director of Technical Development and Compliance for the company’s property and casualty division.  In this role, he will provide expertise and training regarding commercial insurance products, coverages and services, and will advise on regulatory compliance standards.  DeJarnette joined Scott in 2007 and had served as Commercial Compliance Specialist for over 15 years.  He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and is certified as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) through The Institutes and a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) through The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research.

McCue has been named Director of Systems and Training for Scott’s property and casualty division.  She joined Scott in 2003 and, in her nearly 20 years with the company, has supported the implementation of and training for various systems supporting Scott’s service delivery to commercial clients. Additionally, McCue has been instrumental in the development of a centralized team of employee owners focused on processing requests from clients throughout Scott’s entire geographic footprint.  She is a graduate of Radford University and is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and an Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR), a designation through The Institutes specific to commercial insurance and risk management.
