Nick Austin Joins Scott Insurance as Risk Advisor
Scott Insurance has appointed Nick Austin as a Risk Advisor in its Richmond office.
As a Risk Advisor, Austin works with commercial clients to develop strategic insurance and risk management solutions. He specializes in property, casualty and workers’ compensation coverage analysis and education, as well as helping clients proactively manage risks and claims to reduce their total cost of risk. Prior to joining Scott, Austin spent multiple years in underwriting at a national insurance carrier. His experience managing the property and casualty lines for middle-to-large commercial clients gives him a unique perspective on developing creative and robust coverage programs.
A native of Richmond, Austin graduated from the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business with a degree in business administration and management.
