Kelly York Joins Scott as Benefits Consultant in Greensboro
Scott Insurance has appointed Kelly York as a benefits consultant in its Greensboro, N.C., office.
As a benefits consultant, York will serve as a strategic partner to mid-market employers consulting on employee benefits programs, with a specific focus on funding mechanisms, pharmacy carve-out options and tailored plan designs. In this role, she will partner with clients to implement and oversee strategic initiatives to help attract and retain top talent.
Prior to joining Scott, York served as director of resource development at Smith Leonard PLLC, a full-service accounting firm in the Triad. She leverages this professional services experience, along with several years in banking, to bring value to her clients. A mix of analytical and creative, she is well-versed in marketing, business development, employee relations and recruiting, including time leading her own boutique marketing firm before her tenure at Smith Leonard.
York is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has lived in the Triad since 2006. She currently lives in Greensboro with her son, Michael, and is active as a community leader and advocate. She serves in several capacities with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and is a 2020 graduate of Leadership Greensboro and 2021 LG Program Chair. She was also named to the Triad Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list in 2020.
