Kassi O’Brien Joins Scott Insurance as Benefits Consultant in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va., February 28, 2018 – Scott Insurance has appointed Kassi O’Brien as a Benefits Consultant in its Richmond office.

As a Benefits Consultant she partners with middle-market companies throughout Virginia to build competitive employee benefits plans. She provides expert insights and resources for group health plans, funding options, and plan design and utilization analysis.

Prior to joining Scott, O’Brien worked as a Benefits Consultant for an independent benefits firm. She began her career as an industrial engineer for Milliken & Company, where she improved manufacturing practices and guided a team of employees to efficiently deliver quality product and gain market share. She then transitioned into a cost account role measuring financial performance.

O’Brien received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C. and a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University. She also holds her Six Sigma and Supply Chain Management certificates.
