Devon Travis Joins Scott Insurance as Director of Compliance for Employee Benefits Practice

Scott Insurance has appointed Devon Travis as Director of Compliance and Legislative Affairs for its employee benefits practice. In this role, she will provide guidance to Scott clients regarding legislative changes and regulatory requirements impacting employer-sponsored group health plans and other employee benefits.

Travis, who is based in Scott’s office in Roanoke, Va.,  joins the company with nearly 10 years of experience in the health insurance and employee benefits industry.  Her previous experience includes sales and client service roles at other independent agencies and an insurance carrier for ancillary benefits.

Travis is a graduate of Clemson University where she received a bachelor’s degree in financial management.  She has also been a member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP) since 2018.
