Scott Insurance has again been named a Best Practices Agency for 2020, marking the 27th consecutive year the agency has been recognized for employing operational excellence and best practices in the insurance industry. Scott is one of only three independent agencies in the United States to receive the distinction each year since it was launched in 1993 by Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, Inc.

“The Best Practices designation is the ‘Gold Standard’ in the insurance industry and we are proud to be recognized once again,” said Keith Mann, COO/CFO of Scott Insurance. “At Scott, our operational excellence is driven by our values and sets us apart to serve our clients as a strong business partner with innovative solutions.”

Each year, IIABA and Reagan Consulting, an Atlanta-based management consulting firm, join forces to study the country’s leading independent agencies in six revenue categories. The agencies comprising the study groups are selected through a comprehensive nomination and qualifying process to be awarded the “Best Practices Agency” designation.

Additionally, multiple insurance industry rankings recently included Scott Insurance among the top insurance brokers in the country:

  • Business Insurance listed Scott on its 2020 list of the Top 100 Brokers of U.S. Business.
  • Insurance Journal included Scott on its 16th annual Top 100 Independent Property/Casualty Agencies report.
  • The Hales Report ranked Scott among the Top 100 U.S. Agents and Brokers based on 2019 revenue.

“These rankings and recognitions affirm our industry leadership and are a reflection of our commitment to our clients, communities and employee owners,” said Mann.
