Matt Hill serves as a Risk Advisor and Branch Leader in Scott’s Knoxville office. He joined Scott Insurance after serving as an intern for the agency. He specializes in developing risk management solutions and workers’ compensation programs for mid-market companies.

Matt calls the Roanoke Valley home, growing up in Salem, Virginia and graduating from Virginia Tech with an accounting degree.  During his time at Virginia Tech, Matt was a three-time All-ACC Honor Roll member and played the position of tight end for the Hokie football team. Matt is also active in his community serving on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest VA. Matt earned his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation and is currently pursuing his professional degree as a Certified Insurance Counselor.
