Based out of Scott’s Greensboro office, Ben advocates for clients to match them with best-fit surety providers and allows them to gain access to new projects and opportunities by maximizing their surety credit. Prior to joining our team, Ben served as Treasurer and managed the risk management and bonds programs for one of Scott Insurance’s clients.

A little more information about Ben
Ben earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and studied abroad at Copenhagen Business School. He is actively involved in several surety professional associations including Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP), Carolinas chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (CAGC) and Carolinas Surety Association. Prior to joining the Scott team, he held management roles for several national and global organizations and spent four years in Ethiopia working for a non-profit that provided clean drinking water.
