In this role, he advises mid-market companies on comprehensive employee benefits strategy with a specialized focus on group health captives, healthcare funding, plan design, utilization analysis, pharmacy, and disease and health risk management.

Nelson’s experience prior to joining Scott includes eight years of consulting experience, providing clients with customized solutions and spans a number of industries in which he honed his customer relation and service skills setting him apart as an expert in the field. Most recently, he served as a Major Account Executive for Paylocity where he quickly became a top performer in the company. Nelson earned a Bachelor Degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate where he captained the golf team and became a member of the ASUN All-Academic Team.
